The complexity seen in Sharon's paintings is free flowing and energetic while the use of found objects, playful gestures, luminous colors and interesting texture is seen in her encaustic pieces.  The people she meets and the places she visits are always a part of her creative inspiration as well as her interests in design and architecture.

Sharon studied art and art education at New York University and has traveled and studied in many parts of Eastern Europe.  Recently her travels have taken her to China, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore.
