I love the art that nature creates.

Through decay and distress, time and exposure, the very soul of an element is revealed. Concrete cracked and stained; rusted metal posts; shells worked over by the sea until they are stripped down to their essence. Something created that is unique and distinct. And utterly pure. My work is an outward manifestation of my exploration of nature and humanity.

 

A native of Los Angeles, Chris has enjoyed a successful career in the film industry for the last two decades. In fact, it was a film that brought Chris to Austin a few years ago and the warmth of the people that made her stay.
   

 Chris began painting in 2006. She is self-taught and her creative process is unconventional and unique.
