New Encaustic Works by Daphne Holland, Sharon Kyle Kuhn and Kristy Darnell Battani
May 2 through May 17 2009

Three encaustic artists take an interesting journey back in time. The work provokes memory and nostalgia and through the use of encaustics, an ancient technique using beeswax, damar resin and pigment fused together with heat, they share special moments in time by incorporating found objects, techniques and the unique qualities of encaustic paint.

The FUNDRED DOLLAR BILL Project

Bay6 has volunteered to be the collection center in Austin for the Fundred Dollar Bill Project. We hope everybody will contribute their own Fundred Dollar Bill to the project and if you are interested in taking a more active role in the project we would welcome any help to bring this project to fruition.

We are actively soliciting volunteer coordinators and interns to make FUNDRED a success. If you are interested contact us.
